Staffordshire Police received reports of suspicious activity in the Briarsleigh and Wildwood area during the early hours of this morning, where individuals were seen acting suspiciously and a vehicle alarm was heard sounding. Enquiries are ongoing.

🔒 Help Protect Your Vehicle from Crime

Vehicle criminals often target cars that are left insecure or have valuables on display. Please take a few moments to protect your vehicle:

✅ Always lock your vehicle and ensure windows and sunroofs are fully closed.
✅ Remove all valuables from sight, including bags, phones, wallets and tools.
✅ Keep keys away from doors and windows and consider using a signal-blocking pouch for keyless vehicles.
✅ Park in well-lit, secure areas whenever possible.
✅ Use additional security devices such as steering wheel locks or tracking devices.
✅ Check your vehicle before leaving it unattended and report any suspicious behaviour immediately.

🔹 Acting suspiciously around cars or driveways
🔹 Carrying items that appear out of place during the early hours
